• Contact form — name, email address, and the message you submit.
• Analytics — anonymised page-path, hashed IP address, referrer URL, browser type, device type, and approximate country. We do not store your raw IP address.
• Cookies — a session cookie is set for CSRF protection while you complete the contact form. It expires when you close your browser.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To respond to enquiries submitted through the contact form.
• To understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it (aggregated analytics only).
• To protect the site against spam and abuse (honeypot and CSRF checks).

We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell or rent it to third parties.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

Where applicable under GDPR or similar laws, we rely on the following bases:

Contact-form messages are retained for up to 24 months and then deleted. Anonymised analytics records are retained indefinitely. Session cookies are deleted when your browser session ends.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following external services that may process data on our behalf:

• open.er-api.com — retrieves live currency exchange rates. No personal data is sent.
• RSS feed sources (e.g. TechCrunch, The Verge, Hacker News) — fetched server-side only; your browser does not connect to these services directly.
• Web hosting / XAMPP / server infrastructure — standard server logs may be kept by the hosting provider in line with their own privacy policy.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction or deletion of your data.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
